Summary
The ten days deadline given to the Federal Government by the Hazara Action Committee for the acceptance of their demands and has expired and once again people took to the streets to lodge protest against the government for not taking any action. Abbotabad and Shankayari roads have been blocked for traffic.A protest rally was taken out in Mansehra which started from Collage Road later turned into a large public gathering at Khatam-e-Nabovat Chok due to the public gathering Abbotabad road and Shankayari roads were completely blocked for traffic. The traders also closed their shops to exhibit solidarity with the protesters. Karakoram Highway was also closed down for an hour. Protest was also reported from Haripur where the protesters chanted slogans against Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa. Large numbers of policemen were present during the protest to control law and order situation.
