Dr Aafia is in US, not missing: SC

The missing persons case hearing is underway in the Supreme Court.During the hearing, Justice Sair Ali said that Dr Aafia Siddqui is not missing, she is in the US and has been convicted over there, and added that the apex court could not interfere in this regard.A bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal heard the case on Thursday.Additional Attorney General told the court that the government has formed a commission to recover the missing persons. Upon this, Justice Javed Iqbal remarked that forming a commission seemed to be enough for the government while Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan refused to head the said commission.The court observed that the AAG has given the list of only 60 people, however the real number of people who went missing is above hundreds.
