Summary Exchange of fire between the police and the security guards continued for hours.

SANGHAR (Dunya News) – The police executed a raid on the house of Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) chief Shahid Khan Nizamani in Sanghar on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.

Exchange of fire between security guards and police sent shockwaves across the area of Sanghar which is one of the largest districts of Sindh province. Business centers and shops were shut down after the incident.

Police surrounded the house of former advisor of Sindh Shahid Nizamani in order to arrest him. The police raid resulted in a heated argument with the security guards. There was an exchange of fire between the police and the security guards which continued for hours.

Police official from Nawabshah was critically injured in the firing. Moreover, the police vehicles were also damaged. Rangers were called in to help the police force.

Residents of the area protested against the police raid and pelted stones at the police cars. As the law and order situation became worse, the shops and the business centers in the district were shut down.

According to police, the former Sindh advisor has some rivalry with the chief of Bugti clan. The police told the media that three people were killed and twelve injured in a conflict between Shahid Khan Nizamani and the Bugti clan a few days ago.
