ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The federal government has agreed to fulfill Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) five demands including recount in disputed constituencies, electoral reforms, formation of new election commission and action against those involved in election rigging, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

According to sources, the government has acknowledged its willingness to all the politicians and opposition leaders.

The government has insisted that ‘power’ could only be changed within the constitutional ambit.

It is pertinent to mention here that government’s decision regarding fulfillment of demands was also discussed in a meeting chaired by leader of the opposition Khurshid Shah.

The move came a day after PTI chief Imran Khan announced to lead thousands of marchers towards Islamabad  red zone , in a bid to force Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign and hold re-election.
