DIR (Dunya News) – Curfew was imposed in Timargarah after an attack on the security forces during a search operation on Monday, Dunya News reported. At least three were injured and a woman killed in the firing. The residents of the nearby area faced severe difficulties in their preparations for Eid.
Fire was opened at the security forces during a search operation from a house near-at-hand in the Lower Dir’s district headquarter Timargarah. Three security officials were severely injured in the firing. Present in the home, at the scene of firing, a woman lost her life while her son received multiple injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Timargarah. Following the incident of firing, curfew was strictly imposed in the district’s commercial centre Timargarah and the adjoining areas. All the main routes to Timargarah have been sealed. The residents of Lower Dir are facing extreme difficulties in their preparations for Eid after the imposition of curfew in the area.
