KARACHI (Web Desk) – Bomb disposal squad was called in when a suspicious motorbike was spotted outside Crime Branch-II in Jamshed Quarters area in Karachi, Dunya News reported.
During search, BDS officials found and defused a bomb planted on the motorcycle.
The bomb weighed around 20 kilogram (kg) while 10kg explosives were placed in the fuel tank, a BDS official said.
Ball bearings and nut bolts were also found under the seat. A mobile phone and detonator was also attached to the bomb.
It may be mentioned here that a bomb was placed outside Crime Branch-II a day earlier but could not explode.
This was the second time that miscreants tried to target the location but timely action foiled the terror bid.
