LAHORE (Web Desk) – Central spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Shireen Mazari on Saturday vowed that long march will be held on August 14, 2014 in any case, Dunya News reported.

Talking to Dunya News in Lahore, Shireen Mazari stated that false tactics by the government cannot deter party’s determination.

She said no permission is required to hold the long march.

Shireen Mazari said that government’s statement regarding PTI chief Imran Khan ‘detention’ is a clear threat.

I hope government would not go to that extent, she added.

The PTI spokesperson further said “peaceful protest is our democratic right.” She said long march is being held to strengthen democracy.

She warned that government will be responsible for the aftermath if any hurdle created in PTI’s way on August 14.
