Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he is optimistic on Pakistan, India foreign-secretary level.Qureshi said that the outcome of the talk depends on the response from Indian side. Being neighbours, we cannot do without talking to each other, Qureshi noted. He said that Pakistan had always made efforts to maintain friendly relations with all its neighbours.The Foreign Minister said that the peace process between the two countries was proceeding well, but India unfortunately suspended the talks after the Mumbai incident.He added that Pakistan itself was the biggest victim of terrorism. Commenting on Pakistans fight against terrorism, Qureshi said that during last two years the democratically elected government has achieved many important successes.
