There are 333,926 registered voters of which 180,215 males and 150,713 are females. 250 polling stations and 597 polling booth have been setup in the area.The provincial administration have granted permission to Sheikh Rasheed to hold rally at Liaquat Bagh.Earlier Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has vowed to hold public procession at Liaquat Bagh on February 22 despite being denied permission of the procession for his campaign for NA-55 bye-election.Sheikh Rasheed said if the administration has decided to stop him from holding public procession at Liaquat Bagh, he will vehemently oppose the move.PML-N leader Khawja Saad Rafique said that Nawaz Sharif will lead a rally in NA-55. Khawja Saad Rafique was addressing from a news conference in Rawalpindi. Saad Rafique predicted that Sheikh Rasheed will not receive any vote.Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said that victory for his partys candidate would mark the beginning of revolution.Imran Khan said that corrupt politicians who have bank accounts outside Pakistan have no right to ask for votes. He also said that problems could only be solved if a common man comes to power.
