Skardu: Two soldiers killed, 3 injured in avalanche
Due to change of weather avalanches often occur in the area.
SKARDU (Web Desk) - In an unfortunate incident, two Pak Army soldiers were killed and three others injured in an avalanche in Gultari Sector on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the incident took place at 11:00pm last night in Mani Marg Astore area of Gultari Sector.
A special team of Army and other rescue teams started rescue operation who retrieved two bodies of army men identified as Mohammad Umar and Shahnawaz.
Meanwhile, three injured personnel identified as Mohammad Yaqub, Amaan Din and Habib-ur-Rehman were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Skardu.
