Summary PTI chief demands to be taken into confidence over NWA operation.
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Taking to Dunya News, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that the government has completely failed in carrying out the negotiations process with Taliban and anti-Pakistan forces are winning. If tribal locals were onboard then the war could be won, he added.
Imran Khan also said that all political parties had mandated the government to initiate negotiations with Taliban as the first option, yet the government failed to plan and carry out the peace talks.
Lashing out at the prime minister, PTI chief said that the PM has been visiting the whole world but all went in vain.
Assuring support to the armed forces, Imran Khan said that his party stands in support of the army and that if military operation is picked as a solution to the problem, then his party should be taken into confidence.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan security forces had pounded militant hideouts in North Waziristan on Tuesday that had resulted in killing of 37 terrorists including jailbreak mastermind and one of the most wanted terrorists Adnan Rasheed. This was in retaliation of the ongoing terrorist attacks on security forces.
