Dense fog hits several areas of Punjab once again

The intensity of cold weather has increased due to dense fog in several areas of Punjab including Lahore; where as Lahore- Islamabad motorway has been closed till 11 am today.According to the meteorological department, fog will persist till three to four days. Thokar Niaz Beg, Babu Sabu, Kala Shah Kaku and Faizpur interchanges have also been closed down for motorists and motorway M2 will remain closed till 11 am. The motorway police have directed motorists to keep their fog-lights on and should be careful while driving in this dense fog.
