Summary Says any change in the presidential election schedule will be unconstitutional.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah said that the presidential election should be held according to the schedule and any change will be considered as failure of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Responding to a question regarding appointment of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Khurshid Shah said that names of Bhagwandas and Sardar Raza have been suggested to the government to fill the slot.
“We said that legal hurdles in the appointment of Bhagwandas as chairman NAB could be removed when government said that their appointment couldn’t be made due to legal hurdles”, he maintained.
“Meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is likely on July 22 after returning from Karachi;” he added.
