Talking to media in Karachi, Rehman Malik said that the government has passed a resolution against the drone attacks. The Interior Minister, who met with Ulema belonging to different sects in Karachi on Sunday and again on Monday, said that they all were on agreement that terrorism is un-islamic. Talking to media after a meeting with Jamaat Ahl-e-Sunnat here Monday, Malik said that today our beloved homeland is passing through a situation where the enemies of the country are working against its very existence. In order to achieve their nefarious designs they were killing children, senior officers and elderly people which the government cannot tolerate, he said. He said that in todays meeting it was the consensus of every participant that terrorism is un-islamic and so are the terrorist attacks. The unity with which the nation is now moving ahead, the terrorists would not find a place in the country, he declared. He said that terrorists have brought bad name to the country and Islam. He said that if an individual commits a wrong, it is credited to the account of Islam. We all have to keep an eye on the situation and I assure the nation that our allegiance to Pakistan and Islam is unconditional and will remain so even today and in future as well.
