Summary An IRI survey reveals that ML-N has taken over the top position among its rival parties.

 

ISLAMABAD: The International Republican Institute has issued a survey report regarding popularity of leading political parties in Pakistan.


According to the survey, the popularity of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has jumped from 28% to 32%, while popularity of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has fallen from 24% to 18%.


Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party remains at 14% and PML-Q stands at 2%.


The survey further says that in Punjab the popularity graph of PML-N is 49 percent, PTI 19% and PPP 8%.


In Sindh PML-N’s position stabled from 6% to 8 % and PPP’s popularity position came down from 39% to 32%.


In Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa, PML-N position reached 12% from 9% and PTI’s popularity reached to 32% from 23%.

 

In Balochistan, PML-N’s position jumped to 13% from 8% and PPP’s popularity increased to 18% to 5 percent.
