Summary MQM leader Sunday said his party wants creation of South Punjab province before the elections.
LAHORE: Addressing media after meeting with Dr. Tahiru Qadri, he said, “Our party was the first to table resolutions in the National Assembly and the Senate seeking new South Punjab province”.
Dr Sattar said that in this connection draft bill would soon be tabled in the National Assembly.
“People of South Punjab want their separate province. A resolution in this regard has already been adopted by the Punjab Assembly,” he informed.
He urged all political parties to set aside their petty differences and support the new province.
