Summary At least 11 people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.

Target killing continues in Karachi as 11 more people, including a Jamaat-i-Islami leader and a former first class cricketer, were killed in incidents of firing and violence.According to details, Jamaat-i-Islami leader and former Nazim of Liquatabad Dr Pervez Mahmood’s car came under unidentified persons firing near KDA. Former first class cricketer Khaleeq Ullah was also travelling in the car. According to police, both of them died on the spot.In another incident of violence, dead bodies, packed in gunny bags, of four friends, including Nasir alias Baba, Umar, Zafar were recovered from different localities of the city. They were abducted from Zoo in the morning.A man was shot dead in firing incident in Napier area. The deceased was identified as Nasir. In yet another incident of violence, police recovered bodies of a woman and her daughter from a residential apartment in Gulshan Iqbal.In Kallari, a man named Janan Khan was shot dead while Farhan was killed in Shah Faisal Colony. Meanwhile, Dr Shahzad was killed in firing incident at Iqbal Market in Orangi Town.
