Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will appear before the Supreme Court today (Tuesday) in controversial National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) implementation case.A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Asif Khosa, will resume hearing of the case at 9:30an at Court No 4.During last hearing on August 27, a five-judge bench headed by Justice Asif Khosa asked Raja Ashraf to reappear before the court on September 18 as the Prime Minster sought time to visit China.Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf would be accompanied by federal ministers of PPP besides leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Awami National Party (ANP).The Supreme Court last month issued a contempt notice to Prime Minister Ashraf for not implementing its order of writing a letter to the Swiss authorities to reopen a money-laundering case against President Zardari.PM Ashraf will be asked again by the court to write letter to Swiss authorities and in case of refusal he will be indicted.Tight security arrangements have been made for Prime Minister’s appearance in the Court and entry in the premises of the Supreme Court will be through special passes issued for the purpose.
