Summary Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that government wants to hold transparent elections in country.

The cases opened against Nawaz Sharif are not part of the election campaign, said Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting.He said this while he was talking to the media after his visit to a picture expo at PNCH. He said that PPP was being victimised by the conspiracies right from the beginning. “But we do not believe in political victimisation.If someone thinks that opening of cases against Nawaz Sharif is the part of election campaign, then I must say that these cases should be closed soon”, Information minister added.He said, whispers started after the President’s speech to the Parliament and politicians have such determination through which they can surprise the whispers. He said that Benazir Bhutto was used to say that the PPP has to move forward by keeping all political parties with them.He said that deadlock on the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner has come to an end. “Dialogue is the key, even in the hatred period and the dialogue was conducted for the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC)”, Kaira stated.
