Summary Pakistan and Iran have agreed to form a joint working group to expedite gas pipeline project.
This was decided in a two day Pak-Iran talks on the gas pipeline issue in Tehran on Wednesday.The Iranian team was headed by Dr. Ahmad Khalidi, Deputy Minister for Internal Affairs to Minister for Petroleum and Pakistani team was led by Abid Saeed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.Both the sides agreed to include technical‚ commercial‚ financial and legal experts in the working group to resolve the issues.They also decided to continue talks on the issue of gas price to be provided by Iran.
