All parties agree to repeal 17th amendment, LFO: Raza Rabbani

Constitutional reforms committee has agreed to end the disputed clauses of 17th amendment and LFO from the Constitution. Different packages of political parties and other organizations for constitutional amendments were reviewed in the meeting chaired by Senator Mian Raza Rabbani. According to sources, all the political parties are agreed upon to end the 17th amendment and LFO from the Constitution. Talking to media after the meeting, Raza Rabbani said that discussions remained positive and different issues were discussed in the meeting. He said that he can not tell anything about the action of the committee.
