Summary
Politics of confrontation has been started again between Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the differences have intensified once again following which PML-N Central Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal on Monday gave 48 hours ultimatum to PPP for mending its ways. Talking exclusively to Dunya News in this regard, senior analyst Irfan Siddiqi said that signing of Bhurban Declaration between PML-N and PPP was the first upset. After Bhurban Declaration, the two parties signed two more pacts but both of them failed shortly. And both of the parties pulled out their own candidates in the Presidential election. Afterwards, Sharif brothers disqualification pushed the relations between PML-N and PPP on the back burner. Answering the questions regarding the accusations on the Presidency, Irfan Siddiqi said that allegations were merely political discourse; and should not be taken seriously. He hoped that the situation would calm down in next 48 hours.
