Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer has invited MQM to Punjab to do politics. He said that MQM was a reality which can not be ignored. Addressing a book launching ceremony on MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain the Governor said that MQM had two governors rather than one. He elaborated that PPP and the MQM had the similar thought, adding that both the parties were opposed to the extremism. The Governor urged that the politics of accusations should come to an end and calling traitor to each other was no democracy. He maintained that the political parties were welcome to take out long march or short march, saying that and no hurdle would be placed in their way. The author of the book Daood Ahmad, Khalid Ranjha, Shoaib Bokhari, Abdur Rauf Siddiq and others also spoke on the occasion. Separately, Federal Minister Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah has said that no issue of Jinnah Pur existed in the country. He believed that those who floated such issues were working against the country. Talking to the reporters in Sakkahr, the Minister claimed that PPP had ended the tradition of revenge on the name of accountability. The government wants to do such works which benefit the people for the next 20 years, he concluded.
