Lahore High Court has issued orders not to bar free movement of nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan. The orders were issued by Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry. Mr. Khan had filed a petition in the LHC to abolish his protocol claiming the protocol had turned him into a prisoner. According to the petition filed by S M Zafar on behalf of Dr Abdul Qadeer, Islamabad High Court assigned a protocol for A.Q. Khan urging him to inform the police in case he has to go anywhere. Earlier, Dr Khan said he had been made a prisoner due to this protocol.
