President Asif Ali Zardari will call on British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London today. Both the leaders will discuss Pak-UK cooperation to tackle with war on terror. Other important issues of the mutual interest will also be brought under discussion. Earlier President Zardari and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain held a meeting in London and discussed the issues of countrys political situation especially abolition of local bodies system, Dunya News reported on Thursday. MQM coordination committee members Muhammad Anwar, Saleem Shahzad, Federal Minister Babar Ghauri, federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Chairman NRB Dr Asim and Asifa Bhutto were also present during the meeting held at a hotel in central London. Altaf Hussain congratulated the President on successful operation in Malakand. He also informed President Zardari about his point of view on 1992 military operation against MQM demanding that a commission should be constituted to investigate the issue. President Zardari arrived in UK on a three-day official visit on Thursday (August 27).
