Operation to continue till the terrorism network abolished: Athar Abbas

Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Athar Abbas reiterated that operation in South Waziristan would continue till the complete elimination of Baitullah Mehsuds network. Talking to Dunya News, he said that it was governments decision to continue the operation till the abolition of terrorists network. During the first phase of the operation, militants hideouts will be targeted by air force only whereas the ground forces will be sent to the South Waziristan according to the military strategy. Athar Abbas said the situation was being keenly observed after the death of Baitullah Mehsud.
