Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that plan of injecting four rental power plants would be transparent as it was guaranteed by the IMF. Talking to journalists in Islamabad, the PM said that the matter of electricity companies was also seen with doubts, but with the passing of time, importance of the companies came to surface. PM Gilani has said that the suggestions for addressing Balochistans sense of deprivation from all stakeholders has been received and would soon be announced by taking the Baloch leadership on board. The PM said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was committed to conduct local body elections. The PM said that the health and education sectors are among his governments top priorities, adding that the policies for the two sectors will be chalked out in consultation with the chief ministers of all the four provinces. Earlier, the PM, while addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony of National Highways and Motorway Police, said that the government would upgrade the current transportation system in the country.
