Summary A contempt of court plea was filed against president Zardari in Lahore High Court.
The application was filed by advocate Azhar Siddique.The writ petition stated that the court has given verdict against the holding of two offices by president Zardari. The president cannot hold the office of a political party (PPP) as co-chairman and Presidency at the same time under constitution.The plea also said that president also holds most of the meetings of PPP at presidency. Therefore, the court should launch contempt of case proceeding against him.
