Summary At least four people were shot dead in firing on a rickshaw near Afghan Adda in Karachi.
According to sources, two rival groups held a meeting in the area to resolve some issue, however they failed to reach any solution. Meanwhile members of one group while returning after the meeting on a rickshaw came under armed attack when they reach Super Highway, resulting in death of four people, including regional peace committee chairman Irshad.The dead and injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. Teams of police and Rangers reached the site of the incident and started investigation.According to police, members of Afghan peace committee held a thief and were going to hand hime over to police when they were attacked by armed person, killing four people. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.
