Summary Shahid Malik has said in near future the visa norms between Pakistan and India will be liberalised.

Talking to the media in New Dehli Pakistan High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik expressed confidence that in the near future there would be liberalised visa regime between the two neighbouring nations.Earlier Indian Home Secretary R K Singh discussed with his counterpart in Islamabad several issues including liberalised visa norms, which would benefit people of both the nation.Reportedly under the new visa procedures there would be exemption given to elderly people to undergo police reporting and also permit the citizens to visit three cities instead of one. Moreover it would allow people to have multiple entry and free visas for businessmen. When there is a meeting of Foreign Ministers after the dialogue process then they work further in the direction of policy building, as they had already analysed the decisions made earlier and they just meet to review the decisions made. And in concern to the visa agreement both the sides have already decided what all has to be done and if that agreement is signed once, then it will be a big improvement over the present visa regime, said Malik.
