The Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Basit said that the material provided by India was not enough to proceed against Hafiz Saeed legally. At a weekly press briefing on Thursday, Abdul Basit said We are proceeding in accordance with our own laws. Sources in foreign office told Dunya News that Pakistan had demanded more details from India on Mumbai attacks earlier and India replied on 1st August. Pakistan had demanded detailed DNA test reports of the culprits, Ajmal Qasabs statement, forensic evidences, details of the telephonic conversation of the perpetrators and the arms and other belongings recovered from them, sources told. Foreign office sources said that the word Hafiz Sahab in the telephonic conversation can not be termed as Hafiz Saeed. Pakistan is planning to seek more information from India, they added.
