Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has announced an aid of 100 million rupees for the affected people of Gojra incident. He said that strict action will be taken against the responsible for this incident, once the judicial investigations are complete. PM visited Gojra today and met the affectees there. Addressing the affected people of Gojra, he said that this incident is indeed very sorrowful. The disruptionist elements demonstrated riots and burnt down the houses in order to fulfill their gains. PM said that Christian community is extremely patriotic and its their patriotism that they are dealing with the situation patiently. Christians are Pakistani citizens and their protection is foremost responsibility of both, Federal and Provincial governments.
