Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) on Wednesday has announced to table a resolution in the parliament for former president Pervez Musharrafs trial. Addressing the National Assembly today, opposition Leader and PAC Chairman Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Pervez Musharraf should be tried for treason under Article-6 of the constitution. The opposition leader termed Chaudhry Shujaats remarks as insult to the constitution, democracy and politicians. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had said that nobody can prevent two trucks and an army jeep to take over. Ch Nisar said urged Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take up much-awaited vital decisions. Chaudhry Nisar termed the Parliament as rubberstamp parliament, saying the parliament should not be allowed to be employed as rubberstamp entity. He remarked if the Prime Minister did not take up the crucial decisions, then these steps will be taken up someone else. Interior Minister Rehman Malik, while presenting the list of banned organizations and institutions, told the house that 25 organizations have been barred whereas Sunni Tehreek is under observation.
