Pakistan, Tajikistan sign agreement to cooperate

Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed to initiate a strategic dialogue on regional peace, security and development. The cooperation in energy sector will also be made. President Asif Ali Zardari and his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon in their talks at Qasr-e-Millet - Palace of the Nation, also agreed to continue joint efforts against terrorism. President Zardari said that Pakistan would get hydro-power from Tajikistan. The private sectors of the two countries will also cooperate with each other for the trade.
