(Web Desk)- Famous Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna’s explosive entry as Rahman Dakait in Dhurandhar has set social media on fire, quickly becoming one of the movie’s most iconic scenes.
Khanna’s performance has overshadowed Ranveer Singh’s role. The moment he appears on-screen to the infectious Bahraini track ‘FA9LA’, audiences are instantly pulled in. The now-viral dance step, which has unexpectedly become the film’s signature move, surprised fans.
In the sequence, Rahman Dakait walks in with a playful grin, an air of confidence, and an irresistible charm. Khanna effortlessly slips into dancers’ rhythm, matching their steps with a spontaneity that feels both organic and electric. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly had originally created and rehearsed the moves only for the background dancers. The script required Khanna to make a stylish entrance, feel the vibe of the music, and eventually settle into his throne, establishing Rahman’s authority and swagger.
But when the cameras started rolling, Khanna surprised everyone by copying the dancers’ movements and blending them into his character’s unpredictable personality.
A source close to the production shared, “Akshaye wasn’t meant to dance. He simply picked up the steps in the moment and went with the energy of the set.”
This improvised twist has now become one of Dhurandhar’s most discussed scenes, with fans praising Khanna’s magnetic screen presence. Many are even comparing its impact to the viral “Jamal Kudu” moment from ‘Animal’.
