'Mazaq Raat' star Sardar Kamal passes away

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Noted actor and comedian Sardar Kamal died of a massive heart attack on Tuesday. He was 52.
Sardar Kamal, who had been suffering from cardiac problem, suffered pain in his chest and was rushed to the Punjab Institue of Cardiology.
Sardar Kamal, who has been a part of Dunya News programme Mazaq Raat since 2023, will be laid to rest in his ancestral city Faisalabad on Wednesday (today). He is survived by his widow, two sons, and a daughter.
Sardar Kamal starred in more than 30 films, several PTV dramas and hundreds of stage plays forcing viewers to burst into extempore laughter. Janam Janam Ki Maili Chadar was one of his most popular stage shows. He has also worked as a playwright and director.
He recorded an episode of Mazaq Raat just a day before his passing.
“Mazaq Raat” also includes the talents of Sakhawat Naz, Hani Albela, Faisal Ramey, DJ Aoun Ali, and Ayesha.
