Ranbir Kapoor talks about sequel to 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'

Kapoor shared the plot for 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani 2'
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently discussed the prospect of a sequel to his blockbuster film 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' in an interview. He revealed that the film's director, Ayan Mukerji, had an idea for the sequel, but was busy with his upcoming film 'Brahmastra'. However, Kapoor stated that Mukerji may return to the idea in a few years.
Kapoor went on to share his thoughts on what the plot for 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani 2' could be, saying that the story could take place 10 years later, exploring where the characters Bunny, Naina, Avi, and Aditi are in their lives.
In 2018, Kapoor had also discussed the possibility of a sequel, revealing that Mukerji had an idea for it and that they may have a window of time between 'Brahmastra Part 1' and 'Brahmastra Part 2' to work on it.
'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', directed by Ayan Mukerji, was a massive hit when it was released in 2013. The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles.
