Her co-star and on-screen partner in the film, wasn't called due to their absence from the show

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Actress Bhumika Chawla recently opened up about being invited on The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotion of her film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

She admitted to having no idea when the episode was shot, but speculated that Venkatesh Daggubati, her co-star and on-screen partner in the film, wasn't called due to their absence from the show. "Those three couples were called, they are youngsters and their equation is different. So, I said 'thik hai'," she added.

The actress has been absent from other promotional events as well, stating that she does not engage in them due to her ego. Chawla also revealed that she was offered the lead role in the film Jab We Met, alongside Bobby Deol, before Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were cast. She was also offered the role of Dr. Suman in Rajkumar Hirani's Munna Bhai MBBS.

Chawla rose to fame with her performance in Satish Kaushik's Tere Naam and has since appeared in several films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.
