MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Rani Mukerji, the renowned Bollywood actress, is a rare find in the era of social media. Despite being absent from social media platforms her fans still cherish her presence on the big screen.

In a recent interview, Rani spoke about her decision to stay away from social media and why she thinks it's not for her.

The actress expressed her belief that social media comes with a lot of pressure and requires daily maintenance, something that she can't handle alongside her acting career. "It is every individual's choice whether they want to succumb to the pressure or not," she said. "But the point is that you have to live by your conviction and belief and what you can do."

Rani went on to reveal that when the social media influx occurred, everyone around her told her to join in, but she knew it was something she couldn't do. "I won’t be good at it. So why should I burn my hands in it?" she said.

Aside from her views on social media, Rani also opened up about keeping her personal and professional life separate. She shared that she and her husband Aditya Chopra do not discuss movies in front of their daughter Adira.
