Dilip Kumar requests Pakistanis to share pictures of his ancestral house in Peshawar

MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Indian veteran actor Dilip Kumar has requested Pakistanis to click pictures of his 100-year-old ancestral house located in Peshawar and share them on social media.

According to details, the actor took to Twitter and responded to a post containing pictures of his ancestral house.

The reaction came days after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government decided to buy the ancestral houses of legendary Bollywood actors Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar to preserve the historic buildings by converting them into museum.

 

As per notification, it was stated, “The Directorate of Archaeology and Museums intends to declare the houses as a ‘protected antiquity’ under the Antiquities Act aiming at to safeguard for posterity and promote cultural tourism.”

“Hence, land in question either may please be transferred in case of state land or acquired under the Land Acquisition Act on compulsory ground basis if has private owners ship,” it further read.
