Shaan Shahid and Ali Zafar have taken to twitter in favor of peace

(Web Desk) – Many of the Bollywood celebs have joined the anti-peace bandwagon and are talking about cutting off cultural ties and exchanges between the arch rivals India and Pakistan, notably among them are Javed Akhtar and Ajay Devgan.

While heated exchange of hate over the mainstream and social media continues since the Pulwama attack in IOK.

Our A-listers namely Shaan Shahid and Ali Zafar have taken to twitter in favor of peace, harmony and love between the two nations.

Shaan replying to Javed Akhtar, who cancelled his trip to Karachi amid death threats by extremist factions in India, politely implored that this is the right time to come to Pakistan to display the friendship and trust that you have on us.

“Actually now is the time to come and show the friendship and trust you have on us, it is a fact that Pakistan has nothing to do with it, remember hate wins elections. We condole the deaths of all the humans who died in this tragedy from 1947 till 2019,” he added.

Shaan also responded to Javed Akhtar s cold peotic reference.

“Pls write a poem like your father in law did, on Kashmir the occupied paradise, zulm rahay or aman bhi ho kya mumkin hay tum hi kaho, hastee gatee roshan wadee tareeqee maim doob gai betay Dino ki Laash per aye dil main rotaa hoon tu bhi roo.”

Responding to Ajay Devgan, who decided against the release of his movie Total Dhamaal in Pakistan in wake of the Pulwama attack

Shaan tweeted.

“Thank you for doing what we always wanted STOP Indian content on Pakistani soil,” he added.

In his latest tweet Shaan reiterates, caution and responsibility are the virtues that need to be practiced.

“The price of greatness is responsibility,” he said.


Ali Zafar also took to social media, wishing peace, tweeting.

“Listen with an open heart and mind devoid of ego, bias or hatred. If can’t, listen again after a few days in a moment of peace, love, peace,  humanity, togetherness above all,” he added.
