In pictures: Mystic Music Sufi Festival opens in Lahore

(Web Desk) – As many as 400 performers are taking part in the 16th Mystic Music Sufi Festival which commenced on Friday at the Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore.
The three-day festival features performers, singers and musicians from all corners of the country. Organised by the Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop, the festival showcases Sufi poetry through various art forms to promote peace and co-existence.
According to the festival organisers around 30 singers would be performing during the festival. Artists including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sheema Kirmani, Papu Sain and Arif Lohar performed on the opening night of the festival.
The Sufi festival ends on Sunday.
