MUMBAI (Dunya News) – An Indian session court indicted actor Sooraj Pancholi for abetting the suicide of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan in 2013.
During the hearing, the accused pleaded not guilty. However, he is expected to bear a maximum punishment of 10 years in jail.
The proceeding is expected to begin on February 14.
On June 3, 2013, Jiah was found hanging in the bedroom of her flat after which Sooraj was arrested and charged with abetment. The accused was later released on bail.
