(Web Desk) – Akshay Kumar is known for his outstanding acting class and the way he moulds himself into a particular role. Recently, his fans praised his performance in 2017 comedy drama movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
He has changed into the villain avatar after a long time with his terrific look in Rajnikanth-starrer 2.0. A lot of time and energy has been put into the new looks of both Akshay and Rajnikanth.
Talking to Indian media, Akshay expressed his excitement for the project saying, “I have done 130 films and 2.0 was my 131st. I can only say that during the making of those 130 films, I got a little to learn from every film, but I learnt throughout the shooting of this one.”
“Rajini sir is the real superstar,” he admitted adding that he is thankful to the superstar for giving him this huge opportunity. It should be mentioned that Rajnikanth had approached Aamir Khan for his own role in 2.0 due to sickness, however, Aamir had refused to accept the offer saying only Rajnikanth can fully performance in such a powerful role.
The film’s music has been directed by A. R. Rahman while Amy Jackson will appear in the movie as supporting actor. The movie is set to release on January 25. The dates may overlap with Akshay’s another flick Padman that was recently postponed to January 26.
