(Web Desk) – Linkin Park has set up a website in the memory of Chester Bennington, the alternative band’s former lead, which includes a suicide prevention helpline.

The website will allow fans to pay tributes by posting messages, videos and photos for the late musician, whose sudden death has left the world shocked.

The 41-year-old’s death was confirmed by a coroner’s report. The Arizonian singer committed suicide on July 20 in his home on Thursday morning. He left behind a wife and six children. The singer has been struggling with alcohol and drugs in the past and was best known for popularizing nu-metal.

Bennington’s death came right on the same day as the Chris Cornell’s birthday. The lead singer of the band Audio Slave committed suicide two months ago. Bennington paid a tribute to Cornell but tragically committed suicide in the same manner as Cornell.

Fans and many celebrities paid tributes and wrote heartfelt eulogies after the news of Bennington’s death was announced.

The band shared the website on July 23. Fans from around the world are pouring in countless tributes to the late singer. #RIPCHESTER website states, “In case you or someone you know needs support.” The website also features suicide prevention information including contact numbers for the US services Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Crisis Text Line.

Linkin Park was due to start their world tour by the end of this week. They were promoting their recent album One More Light. But, on their official website they have stated that they’ve cancelled their North American summer tour after the suicide of their front-man Bennington.
