Shreya Ghoshal to get her wax statue at Madame Tussauds
The honour was earlier given to Shah Rukh, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman, Hrithik and Katrina
(Web Desk) – Madame Tussauds museum will now feature a wax statue of the Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal. It was seen at India’s first ever Madame Tussauds museum which is all set to open in July, 2017.
Shreya was thrilled by the idea of her wax statue. She felt honoured to feature amongst renowned artists from around the world. The Bengali singer believes that her wax statue would make her a part of the history.
"I am thrilled to be a part of history here at Madame Tussauds, and it is an honour to be featured among such talented stars, artists, historians and renowned celebrities”, she said.
The singer has always loved the concept of paying tribute to services by making wax statues of talented stars, artists, historians and renowned celebrities. “It spreads joy all around the world”, Shreya added.
Many Indians have been a part of Madame Tassauds earlier. The popular names from the country include Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and more.
