Vidya Balan tells how a fan harassed her at airport

(Web Desk) – During an interview, the Indian actress Vidya Balan told about a horrific event in which a fan tried to manhandle her. She was at the Kolkata airport when someone treated her with harassment.
The actress revealed that when she smiled as her fan looked at her, he put his arm around her after which she fell in shock. The man refused to pull out from the filthy deed.

Despite Vidya Balan stressfully disapproving the act, he harassed her and didn’t remove his arm. Vidya’s manager had to intervene and force the man to move away from her. The man even reached his hand and touched her back which disgusted her.
She screamed at him and told him that it was wrong. When the fan requested a selfie, she refused immediately and warned him to behave himself.
Later in the interview, Vidya shared her experience and stated how uncomfortable it is for a woman when a stranger tries to harass her. According to Vidya, harassing is a direct violation of one’s personal space and it should be condemned at any cost.
She told that the celebrities and public figures like her were not public property to do whatever one wished.
