Summary Titled 'Ye Raaste Hai Pyar Ke', the film will be directed by Harsh Narayan.

NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – Indian director Shyam Benegal has expressed desire to cast Fawad Khan in his next film, reported Roznama Dunya.

The film is said to be based on Pak-Indo relations, apparently in an attempt to promote peace among the two neighbouring countries.

Titled ‘Ye Raaste Hai Pyar Ke’, the film will be directed by Harsh Narayan.

Fawad will be playing the role of a musician who makes the bilateral relations stronger through his tunes of love and unity.

Fawad Khan first read the script three months ago and has been in talks with the makers ever since. “At the moment, he is sceptical about reactions to him working in an Indo-Pak co-production. He has shown a keen interest and will respond as soon as the present situation cools down. We are hoping he agrees to play the lead musician in the film,” Narayan told Mumbai Mirror.

Following the Uri attacks in occupied Kashmir, Pakistani artists have been banned by the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) from working in India.

Besides this, the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) have also announced that Indian films having Pakistani artists will not be screened in the cinemas.
