MUMBAI (Dunya News) – Reacting to the recent ban on Pakistani artists from working in India, Bollywood actor Salman Khan came forward and staunchly opposed the move.
The actor has said that there is a difference between a terrorist and an artist.
He pronounced that Pakistani artists are not terrorists as they arrive in India after the Government issue them a permit and visa.
Salman Khan had earlier telephoned Raj Thackeray, the president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and appealed that ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ should be allowed to release peacefully in India.
Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has passed a resolution that bars all Pakistani actors from carrying on with their business commitments in India until normalcy returns.
