Where are all the 'pro-Indians' now, Shaan finally speaks out
Shaan previously blamed local celebrities for making Bollywood a stairway to their success.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Indirectly criticizing the Pakistani artistss who cross the border to be a part of Bollywood ventures, Pakistani actor Shaan on Tuesday asked where are all the ‘pro-Indians’ now.
“Now you will know why there are Borders and now you will see them clearly,” Shaan Shahid wrote in his Facebook post.
The comments came a day after Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena targeted Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan and vowed not to let the actors promote their upcoming films in India.
Fawad, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 film Khoobsurat , has more Hindi films in his bag.
On the other hand, Mahira is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Rahul Dholakia s Raees , in which she stars alongside Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Earlier this month, Shiv Sena had prevented legendary Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali from performing in Mumbai.
Relations have been strained between Pakistan and India, with continued border ceasefire violations from both sides, leading to the cancellation of a meeting between their security advisers in August.
The Shiv Sena, a junior partner in a ruling coalition with the BJP in the Maharashtra state government, opposes any dealings with Pakistan.
